A quasi-experimental study of the effects of an integrated care intervention for the frail elderly on informal caregivers’ satisfaction with care and support
Beschrijving
Informal caregivers of frail elderly people often perform
a substantial number of care tasks over a prolonged
period of time [1]. By definition, informal care is nonprofessional
and unpaid and is provided by family members,
partners or close friends [2]. Frail elderly people
suffer from age-related problems in different domains of
daily functioning, such as physical, psychological, and
social problems [3].
