3Healthcare organizations collaborate, share knowledge, and need to be accountable to each other. Therefore, healthcare organizations manage a dynamic information system landscape. Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a management tool for aligning these landscapes to the primary information needs that healthcare organizations have. EA is of value in some environments, but it seems to be not well suited to the dynamics of healthcare. Despite the publication of several systematic literature reviews on EA in healthcare, a systematic literature study comparing EA applicability at various levels of cooperation (intra, inter, and network collaboration) is lacking. Therefore, we posed the following research question: To what extent is EA researched within healthcare organizations in the context of intra, inter and network collaboration? A systematic literature review was used to select 94 scientific publications for evaluation. These studies make explicit the EA elements at three levels of collaboration in the context of healthcare. The findings show that EA is most frequently studied in relation to a single healthcare organization with a wide range of topics. IT governance and EA implementation are the subjects of the majority of EA network level studies (17 out of 94 studies), followed by building/developing EA, EA acceptance, EA issues and root causes, and EA modeling. Although numerous EA frameworks are discussed in studies at the intra- and interorganizational levels, they are rarely referenced in studies at the network level. Additionally, the EA benefits, success factors, and challenges are comparable at high level, but details differ per level. These findings demonstrate that EA is researched within the healthcare sector context. The majority of knowledge on EA is focused on a single healthcare organization, but little is known about EA in a networked healthcare environment. To learn more about how EA might be used in a healthcare network setting, a research agenda has been set up based on the results.

The typical structure of the healthcare sector involves (specialist) intertwined practices co-occurring in formal or informal networks. These practices must answer to the concerns and needs of all related stakeholders. Multimorbidity and the need to share knowledge for scientific development are among the driving factors for collaboration in healthcare. To establish and keep up a permanent collaborative link, it takes effort and understanding of the network characteristics that must be governed. It is not hard to find practices of Network Governance (NG) in a variety of industries. Still, there is a lack of insight in this subject, including knowledge on how to establish and maintain an effective healthcare network. Consequently, this study's research question is: How is network governance organized in the healthcare sector? A systematic literature study was performed to select 80 NG articles. Based on these publications the characteristics of NG are made explicit. The findings demonstrate that combinations of governance style (relational versus contractual governance) and governance structure (lead versus shared governance) lead to different network dynamics. Furthermore, the results show that in order to comprehend how networks in the healthcare sector emerge and can be regulated, it is vital to understand the current network type. Additionally, it informs us of the governing factors.

Deepfake videos are defined as a resulting media from the synthesis of different persons images and videos, mostly faces, replacing a real one. The easy spread of such videos leads to elevated misinformation and represents a threat to society and democracy today. The present study aims to collect and analyze the relevant literature through a systematic procedure. We present 27 articles from scientific databases revealing threats to society, democracies, the political life but present as well advantages of this technology in entertainment, gaming, education, and public life. The research indicates high scientific interest in deepfake detection algorithms as well as the ethical aspect of such technology. This article covers the scientific gap since, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first systematic literature review in the field. A discussion has already started among academics and practitioners concerning the spread of fake news. The next step of fake news considers the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms that create hyper-realistic videos, called deepfake. Deepfake technology has continuously attracted the attention of scholars over the last 3 years more and more. The importance of conducting research in this field derives from the necessity to understand the theory. The first contextual approach is related to the epistemological points of view of the concept. The second one is related to the phenomenological disadvantages of the field. Despite that, the authors will try to focus not only on the disadvantages of the field but also on the positive aspects of the technology.

This review examines the scientific articles of the last decade, approaching the subject through the methodology of the scoping literature review. Starting with the Boolean search global citizens AND education AND (international business OR international business school) in the ScienceDirect, Emerald, and Scopus databases, the review resulted in only scientific journal articles, strictly targeted at tertiary education ONLY of international business schools and ONLY in those articles that study global citizenship. For reasons of up-to-date knowledge, the present literature was content with the final decade. A total of 13 articles are recorded as a result of the aforementioned Boolean search from a total of 216 articles identified in the first phase of the search. The results will help the researchers to acquire the required knowledge base for their research, the academics to incorporate new methods in their teaching and the approach of their students, and the policymakers to adapt the schools curricula according to the data from the articles present in the literature review.

Big data analysis can change the global tourism and hospitality industry, providing deeper knowledge and greater insights and increased relationships regarding e-travelers. The purpose of this study is to present a mapping literature review and a research articles' classification regarding big data and social media data exploitation representing a fuel of innovation in tourism and hospitality. The review covers 24 articles from peer review journals, over the last decade, presenting the Boolean technique followed for the data-extraction method. The articles are classified in several distinct modules and research thematic areas and sub-areas. The findings of this study reveal, among others, the most studied areas, trends and tendencies for big data analysis in tourism and hospitality. Our literature review revealed several emerging research approaches, focused on, but not limited to: social media platforms and other data sources, type of analysis (data analytics, model analytics and geospatial analytics), tools and methodologies and outcomes, to wit market research and decision-making in tourism. This study is the first using mapping literature review techniques on focused articles related to BD analysis regarding tourism and hospitality, presenting a complete, increasing and continuously editable framework for future research. Thus, tourism BD analysis provides significant challenges in the relationship between businesses and their customers, offering superior buying and support experiences with a view to enhancing customer choice and expectations.

The purpose of this literature study was to obtain an overview of previous civic literacy projects and their characteristics as primarily described in educational science literature. Eighteen academic articles on civic literacy projects in higher education were studied in detail and coded using the qualitative data analysis instrument, Atlas.ti. The codes and quotations compiled were then divided in various categories and represented in a two-axis model. The definitions of ‘civic literacy’ found in the literature varied from an interest in social issues and a critical attitude to a more activist attitude (axis number 1). The analysis of the literature showed that, especially in more recent years, more students than citizens have benefited from civic literacy projects in higher education (axis number 2). The visualization of the findings in the two-axis model helps to place civic literacy projects in a broader frame. The final authenticated version is available online at https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-13472-3_9

Interpreting statistical graphs is a crucial component of the 21st-century skillset known as statistical literacy. Despite their importance for statistical literacy, research reports that systematic errors often occur in the interpretation. As no consolidated overview of these errors existed to date, a systematic literature review was conducted. This review identified systematic errors in the interpretation of graphical representations of the distribution of one variable, such as histograms, dotplots, boxplots, and casevalue plots. These errors were then categorized into four overarching themes, to provide a structured framework for understanding and addressing them.

To make effective financial decisions, individuals need both financial and numerical competence. The latter includes having numerical knowledge and skills, and the ability to apply them in a financial context. A positive attitude towards numbers, combined with the absence of math anxiety, proves beneficial. Additionally, higher-order numerical skills enhance the quality of financial decision-making. Challenges in any of these numeracy aspects may contribute to financial difficulties. However, the specific aspects of numeracy that are of crucial importance remain unclear. Therefore, our research addresses the question: Which aspects of numeracy are related to having financial problems? In this article, we explore this question through a literature review.

Background: Meaning in life of older persons is related to well-being, health, quality of life, and “good life.” However, the topic is scarcely covered in nursing literature. Objective: The aim of this integrative review for nurses is to synthesize knowledge from scholarly literature to provide insight into how older persons find meaning in life, what are influencing circumstances, and what are their sources of meaning. The review serves as a starting point for including meaning in life of older persons as a major concern for nurses in their role as health promoters. Method: An integrative review was performed including empirical research literature and texts on theoretical perspectives. Ethical consideration: Researches agree with ethical codes for research of universities in the Netherlands. For literature reviews no additional procedures are necessary according to Dutch law. Findings: A total of 44 heterogeneous texts were included in this review. Finding meaning in life is challenging for older persons. Older persons find meaning through a developmental process, by creating and discovering. Meaning in life is found in connection with self and others. Health, living together, high socio-economic status, social relations, activities, and religion are associated with experiencing meaning in later life. The main source of meaning in life of older persons is human relationships. Other sources of meaning in life vary by age and culture. Discussion: The review provides insight into meaning in life of older persons. There are several gaps in knowledge: literature is culturally biased, research on discovery of meaning and daily meaning is limited, and research from a nursing perspective is lacking. In practice, nurses have many opportunities to attune to meaning in life of patients. Further development of competence and training are needed. Conclusion: Older persons find meaning in life through different processes. Meaning in life is associated with the circumstances old persons live in. Human relationship is the major source of meaning. The knowledge from this review is a necessary knowledge base for nurses to include meaning in life of older patients in care. Further research is needed to explore the role of nurses.
