Miriam Wijbenga

As an educationalist and researcher in the field of Health Professions Education, my interest lies with internationalisation of the curriculum, both at home and abroad. I believe the development of international competencies is invaluable for every healthcare professional, as it allows us to integrate different perspectives, approaches to care and flexibly adjust to challenging environments. My joint PhD project (School of Health Professions Education (Maastricht University) & HvA) is focused on the challenges, pitfalls and support of student learning during clinical placement abroad.
