As Transversal Professor of Sustainability Transitions, I focus on supporting (current and future) professionals, companies and organisations in identifying and implementing sustainability transition pathways.

This involves, but is not limited to, trying to answer these kind of questions:

• What kind of business and organisation models align with the required sustainability transition of society?
• What kind of ownership structures, contractual agreements, cooperation mechanisms, supply chain mechanisms and decision-making processes support implementation of these business and organisation models?
• How can existing businesses and organisations transform their current models, structures, arrangements, mechanisms and processes into these new ones, while operating within a context that might not always support doing so?
• How can start-ups apply these models, structures, arrangements, mechanisms and processes from the start, while operating and aiming to scale up within a context that might not always support doing so?
• How do you convince various stakeholders of your business/organisation, such as policy-makers, shareholders and, last but not least, customers/visitors/clients/employees, to support and join (forces with) you in realising this transformation/upscaling?
