Nadine Blankvoort is a PhD candidate at Maastricht University and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS). Her research is a critical discourse analysis and critical ethnography of Dutch migrant integration practices. She is also currently employed as an instructor and researcher at the AUAS within the Bachelor and Masters education programmes for Occupational Therapy. Her teaching topics focus on qualitative research, health equity and reflexivities. She is currently co-chair of Civic Foundation, a foundation aiming to promote a fundamentally different perspective on ‘migrant integration’.
