IT organizations and CEO‟s are, and should be, concerned these days about the (lack of) data confidentiality and the usage of „shadow‟ IT systems by employees. Not only does the company risk monetary loss or public embarrassment, the senior management might also risk personal fines or even imprisonment. Several trends reinforce the attention for these subjects, including the fact that an increasing number of people perform parts of their work tasks from home (RSA, 2007) and the increasing bandwidth available to internet users which makes them rely on the Internet for satisfying their business and personal computing needs (Desisto et al. 2008). Employee compliance with the existing IT security policies is therefore essential. This paper presents a study on factors that influence non-compliance behavior of employees in organizations. The factors found in literature are tested in a survey study amongst employees of a big-four accountancy firm in the Netherlands and Belgium. The study concludes that stricter IT governance and cultural aspects are the most important factors influencing non-compliance behavior.

The presentation of management information on screens and paper is aimed at the initiation of control actions in order to bring about predefinied goals. The terms and concepts used in this control information can be interptreted in different ways. It is of vital importance that adequate definitions for these terms and concepts are provided, because of the area of tension betrween those that control and those being controlled. The creation of a common conceptual framework and the maintenance of concepts and definitions can be supported by the construction of an organization-specific lexicon and the use of modern IT tools.
In this project we utilize the conversational model of delivering destination information as an experimental intervention to provide tips to a sub-group of visitor participants in one specific destination, Overijssel. By contrasting the experience of this group to a randomly assigned control group will be able to test the effectiveness of hyper-personalized information. Furthermore, we will investigate the effectiveness of integrating, in the tips provided, the policy of the DMO to direct visitors to certain places while reducing the pressure on others. For this variable as well––policy-driven vs. demand-driven information sources––random assignment to test and control groups will allow us to draw conclusions about causes of differences in tourist behavior and experience.The main question is: Does the conversational information model, as exemplified by Travel with Zoey, create the possibility to direct people to the places destination managers would like them to go, while assuring they benefit equally––or even more–from their travel experience? Grid congestion has caused significant issues for many businesses and consumers, leading to pressing questions about potential expansion, the configuration of electrical infrastructure, opportunities to reduce energy usage, and the impacts of installing photovoltaic (PV) systems. This project is dedicated to developing a digital twin energy management system within an energy hub to enhance efficiency and sustainability. By integrating state-of-the-art digital twin technology with various energy systems, the project, led technically by HAN University of Applied Sciences and with security managed by Impact Iot Solutions, aims to optimize the management of diverse energy sources like solar panels, heat pumps, and storage systems. Central to our approach is ensuring that all data collected during the project, which includes system performance metrics but excludes any personal user information, is used responsibly and stored securely. Local storage at the energy hub allows real-time monitoring and data analysis, with secure remote access for project partners to facilitate collaboration. At the project's conclusion, non-sensitive data will be made publicly available on an open platform, promoting transparency and enabling further research and development by the broader community. This initiative not only seeks to improve energy management practices but also aims to serve as a model for future digital twin implementations in energy hubs worldwide. By focusing on innovation, privacy, and community engagement, the project represents a significant step forward in the integration of digital technologies into sustainable energy solutions.
