This article examines internal organizational factors and external antecedents of sus-tainable value creation by small medium enterprises (SMEs) and constructs a frame-work that integrates, at both levels, the theories of psychological distance andconstrual level from the field of psychology. This research provides an explanation asto why sustainable value creation remains a complex issue, and why many SMEs'engage with sustainable value creation to varying degrees. This paper particularlyhighlights how owner/managers of SME may construe different dimensions of psy-chological distance and apply their understanding to their response to different ante-cedents of sustainable value creation. Finally, by adopting the psychological distanceperspective, this paper highlights the conditions under which internal and externalorganizational and factors can affect SMEs' propensity to create sustainable value. Oncology healthcare professionals (HCPs) and cancer patients often have difficulties in navigating conversations about sexual changes and concerns due to cancer and its treatments. The present study draws on Discursive Psychology to analyze how the topic of sexuality is raised and managed in Dutch oncological consultations. Our corpus consists of 28 audio recordings. We analyzed the discursive practices used by cancer patients and oncology HCPs and to what effect. Patients, on the one hand, employ vagueness, pronouns, and ellipses, while HCPs attribute talk to others and use generalizations, and speech perturbations. Through these practices they collectively keep the topic of sexuality at a distance, thereby constructing it as a delicate topic. Moreover, we explicate the norms related to sexual behavior that cancer patients and oncology HCPs orient to in their talk. Finally, we address ways in which oncology HCPs can open the door on discussing sexual changes with their patients.

The principal aim of this study is to explore the relations between work domains and the work-related learning of workers. The article is intended to provide insight into the learning experiences of Dutch police officers during the course of their daily work. Interviews regarding actual learning events and subsequent changes in knowledge, skills or attitudes were conducted with police officers from different parts of the country and in different stages of their careers. Interpretative analyses grounded in the notion of intentionality and developmental relatedness revealed how and in what kinds of work domains police officers appear to learn. HOMALS analysis showed work-related learning activities to vary with different kinds of work domains. The implications for training and development involve the role of colleagues in different hierarchical positions for learning and they also concern the utility of the conceptualisation of work-related learning presented here.
