This module of Professionalism in Patient Centred Acute Care Training (PACT) is part of an international multidisciplinary distance learning programme for intensive care training. Editor-in-chief: G. Ramsay
Most trainees are involved in some sort of teaching and therefore fulfil trainee and trainer roles as indeed pertains to personnel at all levels of the healthcare system. After studying this module learners should be able to:
1. Understand how professionals learn
2. Use effective methods for teaching in the clinical setting and other venues
3. Choose appropriate methods to assess clinical competence
4. Discuss components of a curriculum plan
5. Describe the evaluation process for learning experiences
