The purpose of this research was to determine the level of narrative comprehension in films when watched in a virtual reality headset (Oculus Rift). A 360-degree live-action film was created and was shown to participants after which the level of comprehension of various literary aspects as well as the feeling of distraction and enjoyment were measured using questionnaires and interviews. Revealing how increased freedom to view a movie in virtual reality has an effect on storyline understanding, provided a framework to start a discussion on whether and how to utilize virtual reality as a means for storytelling through films.

The purpose of this study was a serial assessment of gross motor development of infants at risk is an established procedure in neonatal follow-up clinics. Assessments based on home video recordings could be a relevant addition. In 48 infants (1.5-19 months), the concurrent validity of 2 applications was examined using the Alberta Infant Motor Scale: (1) a home video made by parents and (2) simultaneous observation on-site by a pediatric physical therapist. Parents’ experiences were explored using a questionnaire.
This is a manual on supervision with video recordings and role-play. The manual provides points of reference for reflecting in a team on the implementation of the work and learning from each other by means of video recordings and role-play. We know that the quality of the care provided is directly related to the outcomes for clients. And we know that learning from each other helps to improve this quality. Using this manual, a team can get to work on this.

An Erasmus+ funded project in which universities from Denmark, Norway, and Portugal work alongside BUas to research and develop pre-preproduction teaching materials regarding the use of Virtual Production (VP) technologies. Lecturers and students from the consortium will get hands-on experience with BUas's XR stage, with the goals of collaboration and understanding of the needs of future media professionals.
